Rhinoplasty

The art of aesthetic rhinoplasty is to shape a person’s nose, so as to fit better into the face and personality, with the ultimate aim of producing a nose that appears naturally grown. The perfect result is achieved when following the procedure friends are positive that something has changed for the better without being able to say exactly what!

Aesthetic rhinoplasty is performed under general anaesthetic, normally with one night’s stay in the clinic. Swelling and bruises may persist for up to two weeks and for up to four weeks it is recommended that there should be no pressure to the nose, not even through the wearing of glasses!

Duration of the surgery:

approximately 1-2 hours

Anaesthetics:

general anaesthetic, inpatient for 1 night

Recovery:

swelling and bruises for about 2 weeks, no sports, lifting and heavy workout for 4 weeks, no glasses, not even sun glasses for 4-6 weeks

Normally fit for flying after 2 weeks
